The Boost Our Pay campaign is the main campaign being run by the UNITE union.

The issues of low pay, casualisation and bullying in the workplace are the main issues facing young workers in fast food and retail.

Boost Our Pay has 4 key demands-

• Abolish youth wages - Equal pay for equal work
• No to wage cutting individual contracts
• Boost the minimum wage to $16 per hour
• For secure hours – All casuals should have the option to be made permanent after six months
