UNITE calls on all members and supporters to attend the workers rights rally called by the Building Industry Group unions in Victoria. A growing number of Victorian unions, including UNITE, have agreed to mobilise their members to drive home their ongoing opposition to the Federal Government’s IR Laws and other anti-worker policies.

Meet at Trades Hall on the corner of Lygon and Victoria Streets Carlton South at 10am on Wednesday 26th September 2007. The rally will march through the city to Flinders Street. Bring your family and friends as well as banners and flags.

Community groups will also be mobilising as they have done over the last few years.  This rally will be a broad based event aimed at highlighting how much damage 11 years of Howard rule has done to working people.
